Watson Realty Corp agents from the St. Augustine Beach office participated in the month's final St. Augustine Clean-up on Saturday February 27, 2010. Agents from the St. Augustine Beach Office, and their families, braved the frigid temperatures and rainy weather to help keep our beaches beautiful. Check out the photo...looks like snow and it sure felt cold enough for a few flurries.
As part of the Watson Cares Initiative to give back to the community, agents from my office met at the Dondanville beach ramp, and were given gloves, trash bags and equipment for trash pick-up. Cigarette butts, cans, Styrofoam, balloons and cardboard were collected. Even the youngest of the Watson Cares group got into the act collecting the beach trash, I recruited my twin 3 year old grandchildren to help!
Protecting and preserving the coastal areas of our beautiful community is important to me. I love the beach and I appreciate the opportunity to assist the Friends of A1A Scenic and Historic Coastal Byway in this beach Clean-up.
